Eclipse is a Layer Base released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the HyperSphere System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the HyperSphere Starter Pack, Eclipse Genesis G5 Swipe Friction-H.
Description
Hasbro's Eclipse is a Stamina Type Base that is based on Takara Tomy's Defense Type Bigbang Genesis Layer. Despite the change in Type, Eclipse retains the general shape of Bigbang Genesis, including a non-removable Bigbang Armor that is molded into the Base. Unlike Bigbang Genesis, which is a non-customizable Layer, Eclipse can be used with any right-spin GT Chip. Despite its Stamina Type classification and being based on a Defense Type Layer, due to its aggressive shape, Eclipse is actually best suited for Attack Combinations.
