Monster is a Layer Base released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the HyperSphere System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Monster Ogre O5 and Orb Engaard E5 Dual Pack.
Description
Hasbro's Monster is a right-spin Attack Type Base that resembles the design of the Valtryek line of Layers, with three upward slanted wings acting as the main contact points. Details resembling the Retsu Weight are also integrated into the Monster Base. Compared to other three-sided Attack Type Layers, Monster has stubbier wings and an overall rounder shape. Due to its shape, the Monster Base has weak Attack Potential but instead excels in Defense Combinations.
