Mad Northern Cross 145F is a Balance Type Beyblade that makes a brief cameo appearance in the "Beyblade: Metal Fusion" TV series. It was used by Madoka Amano to stop Rock Leone 145WB's Special Move.

Face Bolt - Northern Cross

Main article: Face Bolt - Northern Cross

The Face Bolt depicts Cygnus, one of the 88 constellations in space, and as such shares similarities with the Cygnus Face Bolt. The head of a swan (Cygnus is Greek for "swan") is adorned with the words "Northern Cross", an asterism associated with the Cygnus constellation. The Face Bolt motif is light blue on a blue Face Bolt.

Energy Ring - Gasher

Main article: Energy Ring - Gasher

Gasher (or Cancer) is a round Energy Ring with a design representing crab claws. The slopes of the Energy Ring, and its heavy weight, give Gasher use in Defense Type combinations. The Takara Tomy version has the word "Cancer" written on the slopes - the Hasbro release of Gasher removes this.

Light Wheel - Mad

Main article: Light Wheel - Mad

Mad is the Light Wheel version of the Dark Fusion Wheel. The design is similar, but unlike Dark, which has twelve spikes facing the clockwise direction, the twelve protrusions of Mad are closely packed together with minimal space between each, resulting in a round shape. Such a shape hinders the Light Wheel in two ways: its protrusions are not pronounced enough to provide sufficient Smash Attack, while the perimeter is interrupted too frequently for sufficient Stamina. Additionally, its weight is distributed over too large a surface area.

Like other Light Wheels, Mad uses plastic instead of metal, reducing its weight significantly. As such, Mad is prone to breakage when used in battles and should be considered as a collector's item only.

Spin Track - 145

Main article: Spin Track - 145

145, along with its variants (Claw 145 (C145), Down Force 145 (DF145), etc.), was once the highest Spin Track available, until the 230 Spin Track was released with Flame Byxis 230WD. 145 can be used in Stamina Type combinations to great effect due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its spin velocity. However, gimmick-paired Spin Tracks such as Boost Disk 145 (BD145) have immensely outclassed their original basic variant, as have several taller gimmick Spin Tracks, especially against heavy, mid-height Attack customisations. Even in stamina battles, 145 does not offer enough balance: Spin Tracks such as Armor Defense 145 (AD145) and Wide Defense 145 (WD145) provide a good center of gravity, and aid with a slight downforce to maintain stability.

Performance Tip - Flat

Main article: Performance Tip - Flat

Flat (F), as the name implies, has a flat plastic tip, which gives it an offensive movement pattern. Flat has a hard time retaining a flower pattern due to it being made of plastic, which results in it having less grip to the stadium floor than a rubber Performance Tip such as Rubber Flat (RF).
