Garuda G3 7Lift Sword, known as Maximum Garuda 7Lift Sword (マキシマムガルーダ・セブンリフト・ソード, Makishimamu Garūda Sebun Rifuto Sōdo) in Japan, is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the God Layer System. It was released in Japan on October 20th, 2018 for 993円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 12 Dead Hades.11T.Z'.

Energy Layer - Garuda G3

Main article: Energy Layer - Garuda G3

Hasbro's Garuda G3 is a circular Stamina Type Energy Layer based on Takara Tomy's Maximum Garuda Layer. It is virtually unchanged and as such features the same wide and smooth edge that is interrupted by shallow bumps. The only visual difference is the God Chip is now irremovable. The slopes of Garuda G3 grant the Layer greater Burst Resistance than its Takara Tomy counterpart. As part of the SwitchStrike System, Garuda G3 features a gimmick: the center is connected to the perimeter by five blades that are intended to create Upper Force.

In theory the Upper Force will "lift" the Beyblade off the stadium floor and decrease friction between the Performance Tip and the stadium floor to improve Stamina. In practice however, the blades instead create air resistance when spinning and slow the Beyblade down, an issue that becomes exacerbated the harder a Garuda G3 combination is launched.

The almost perfectly circular perimeter of Garuda G3 creates little to no recoil which prevents both Bursts and Knock-Outs. Furthermore, the round shape creates high Life-After-Death (LAD) and creates high resistance to Spin-Equalization Combinations. Despite the air resistance created by its Upper Force gimmick, Garuda G3 still has high Stamina. As a result, Garuda G3 is an ideal Layer for Stamina/Defense Combinations.

Forge Disc - 7

Main article: Forge Disc - 7

7, like other odd numbered Core Discs, is an asymmetrical, elliptical disc that can facilitate a Disc Frame. 7 is designed similar to Gravity or Heavy, with seven designs jutting out that resemble the number "7". At first glance, the Disc looks unbalanced, but in reality, two of the sections on one side being halves makes it balanced. 7 is one of the heaviest Discs thus far, outclassed only by 10 and 0, and has a ideal weight distribution for Stamina Combinations. Its high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) grants it not only the highest Stamina potential out of all other Core Discs, but its weight grants it high Attack and Defense potential without the severe Burst Risk of 8. With the use of Disc Frames, 7 can be used to great effect in any Combination.

Disc Frame - Lift

Main article: Disc Frame - Lift

Lift is a thick Frame with numerous protrusions to give it a rough perimeter. The thickness of the Frame is meant to accommodate Lift's gimmick; the Frame can be flipped to expose a different perimeter for an "Attack Mode" and a "Defense Mode", akin to Zero-G Beyblade's SA160 track.

Lift's "Defense Mode" features a round perimeter akin to Bump which is meant to parry hits from the opponent and reduce recoil during Disc-to-Layer contact while Lift's "Attack Mode" features a perimeter akin to Under which is meant to increase Burst Attack during Disc-to-Layer contact. However, due to most Burst Performance Tips being of the same or very similar heights, such contact is rare. Despite the ineffective gimmick, Lift's size makes it the heaviest Frame at the time of writing, heavier than Bump, which grants high Attack potential when paired with Core Discs such as 7, 10 and 0.

However, Lift's size also makes it a severe scrape and Stamina risk, making it difficult to achieve banking patterns and making Stationary Combinations scrape even at relatively high spin velocities. Even on Destroy Combinations, where Destroy's design would prevent tipping over, this risk is still heavily present. Furthermore, both modes have perimeters too rough to add Life-After-Death, further exacerbating the Stamina issue further.

Performance Tip - Sword

Main article: Performance Tip - Sword

Sword features a wide, metal, six-pointed star tip, akin to a combination of Iron, Assault and Jaggy. Due to the shape and surface area, Sword will create a highly aggressive movement pattern with speeds comparable to Assault. However, the rough perimeter, low friction of the metal and wide diameter of the tip makes it difficult for Sword to maintain a banking pattern and creates relatively poor Stamina despite the metal construction, making Sword ill-suited for Tornado Stalling Combinations as well.

Furthermore, Sword features two sword-like protrusions on either side. Due to the height of the Burst System, no Combination can come into contact with the protrusions and they instead create a severe scrape risk, nullifying Life-After-Death potential. When paired with the Xcalibur line of Layers, the protrusions are meant to line up with the Layer's sword point to increase Attack potential. However, the protrusions are too small have any noticeable effect.

Finally, Sword is taller than most other Performance Tips which further reduces Attack potential as most Attack Type benefit from being at lower heights.
