Metal Fight Beyblade: Soul Burst (メタルファイト ベイブレード ソウルバースト, Metaru Faito Beiburēdo Souru Bāsuto) is the one-shot manga sequel to the Metal Series, written & illustrated by Takafumi Adachi. It was published in July 2019 under CoroCoro Aniki comics.

Information

Due to the popularity of Bakuten Shoot Beyblade: Rising, Takafumi Adachi decided to start working on a Metal Fight Beyblade one-shot manga to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Metal Series, taking place after Metal Fight Beyblade 4D and before Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G[1]. The characters use Burst System Beyblades released in the Metal Fight Beyblade Anime 10th Anniversary Set, but the one-shot is unconnected to the Beyblade Burst storyline.

Plot

Following the Nemesis Crisis, the WBBA designed the BURST System, which limits a Bey's destructive potential. Although based on Hybrid Wheel System Beys, it is considered the successor to the 4D System. During the World Championships in Macau, Big Road, a representative of the tournament's sponsor TERA Sports Co., appears and challenges Gingka and Kyoya to battle his company's new Bey, the ominous Grisalis GOD Absorb.
