Shoot the Dragon of Destruction!! (Japanese: 破壊のドラゴンを撃つ！, Shoot the Dragon of Destruction!!) is the second chapter of the manga arc, Ultimate Bladers, which is based on Beyblade: Metal Fury, and the 32nd chapter of the Metal Fight Beyblade manga overall. It was first released in the May issue of CoroCoro, and was re-released in Metal Fight Beyblade Vol. 8 on April 27, 2011. It is preceded by A Story Fierce Battle!!.
The plot revovles around Ginga's next encounter with Ryuuga whom with his new Bey, L-Drago Destroy F:S, challenges Ginga to a battle, to see who is stronger after all the time that has passed, in the second match of Ultimate Bladers.
Synopsis
As Ginga met up with Ryuuga, Ryuuga declares that he challenges Ginga to a battle. And as he does this, Ryuga launches his new Beyblade, L-Drago Destroy F:S. Which evolved from Meteo L-Drago LW105LF after defeating and absorbing Basalt Horogium 145WD.
Ginga does not despair, and Go Shoots, Big Bang Pegasis. Despite this, Ginga cannot believe the incredible power, L-Drago Destroy holds.
Ginga keeps trying to hold for cover, and after Ryuga's taunts towards him, Ginga assures him that he will not lose and is confident in himself. This all happens as Blader DJ, along with Yuki catch the action on a helicopter.
As the battle keeps on going, much, much action follows. Despite having determination, Ginga cannot hold off well against Ryuuga. This is seen elsewhere by Benkei, Sora, and Kenta via television. Kenta is worried that Ginga will not be able to defeat Ryuuga and has a flashback of when Ryuuga trapped Ryusei Hagane while Ryuuga was under th dark power, of the "Forbidden Bey", Lightning L-Drago 100HF.
As the two Beys clash in epic battle, Yuki goes over some BeyPoint Cards. One being of Ginga's, in which he currently contains 15000 BBP. Yuki then analyzes this, while Ryuga contains 30000 BP. This concerns him as he tells this to Ginga, whom still remains confident.
Ginga tells Ryuuuga that despite all of L-Drago Destroy's heavy hits, it will not be enough, to defeat Big Bang Pegasis. Ryuuga then decides to have L-Drago Destroy retract, then come back for a heavy hit. With this, Ryuga shows a confident, evil-like face as L-Drago Destroy assaults Big Bang Pegasis, worrying Ginga greatly.
Then as Kenta notices, L-Drago Destroy flys up into the air, then sky-rockets down aiming at the top of Big Bang Pegasis. It gives Big Bang Pegasis a very, powerful hit, in which L-Drago's Beast appears. A giant explosion caused from the impact, gives way from the Stadium, as it catches everyone's attention.
It even created a giant, hole digging deep into Earth's inside. L-Drago Destroy then arised form this hole, and lands swiftly in Ryuuga's hands.
Despite this, Ginga is still confident and rest assures Ryuuga that he will prevail in the end. Just then, Big Bang Pegasis also arises from the hole and dashes towards L-Drago Destroy, whom Ryuuga has laucnhed back into the Stadium.
As Kenta and the others watch, Ginga pulls himself together and cracks his knuckles, signifying that this time, he will turn the tables. Ryuuga still does not care for Ginga's determination and ignores it; becoming confused as a result.
Ginga and Ryuuga unleash their fullest potential as they command their Beys to go towards one another. As the battle rages, aside, Yuki finds out that Ginga and Ryuuga's BP have both changed and finds out, Ryuuga is a Legend Blader.
But suddenly, as L-Drago Destroy keeps on spinning around, it changes it's looks. And as it dashed toward Pegasis with a very confident face on Ryuga, L-Drago Destroy has now become, L-Drago Destroy Gold Armored Ver.
Ryuuga intends to have his new L-Drago jump to the sky and sky-rocket down to pummel Big Bang Pegasis. However this time, Ginga has a trick up his sleeve.
Ginga has Big Bang Pegasis dash away, Mode-Change, and intend to use the very same teqnicue, that had him destroy Fang Leone 130W²D to pieces.
Ginga goes with full-force as Pegasis dashed toward L-Drago whom is sky-rocketing at Pegasis. Ginga with no despair, will go out with a bang.
As the battle rages on and Pegasis and L-Drago finally make contact, it creates a huge explosion, covering the battle and making Ginga and Ryuuga wonder who will be the victor as the mist clears.
At last, they discover that Big Bang Pegasis and L-Drago Destroy Gold Armored Ver. have slowed down. But have started spinning again, as the battle still continues, much to Yuki's amazement.
But even in the heat of battle, and even with Ryuuga's taunts, Ginga still does not give up and is determined to win this battle, once and for all.
And at last, Ginga has won. As Big Bang Pegasis outspun L-Drago as a result. Ginga jumps into teh air and cheers! As he has defeated the very powerful, Ryuuga since their last battle.
Ryuuga picks up with Bey, and as he looks at it, with Ginga watching in concern, Ryuuga laughs in delight. With the people watching confused, as Ginga gives a laugh as well.
Ryuuga decided that he has done what has needed to be done, and Ginga has finally beaten him, even when Ryuuga became powerful. Ryuuga then leaves as Ginga watches...
