It was released by Takara Tomy as a Starter on September 18, 2010. It is Ryuga's second Beyblade in the anime and third in the manga, being the evolution of Lightning L-Drago 100HF. It later evolves into L-Drago Destructor F:S.

The L-Drago II Face Bolt depicts "Draco", one of the 88 constellations in space. The design features a dragon facing the left, similar to its predecessor. However, unlike the L-Drago I Face Bolt, the "L-Drago" text has been replaced with claws.

Energy Ring - L-Drago II

L-Drago II (also known as L-Drago Absorb) is the successor to the original L-Drago I Energy Ring, and as such features thee dragon heads. Like the other L-Drago Energy Rings, L-Drago II can switch between two modes by changing the position of the Energy Ring on the Fusion Wheel, in this case, Meteo. These modes are called "Assault Mode" and "Rapid-Hit Mode"; Rapid-Hit Mode offers more spin-steal capability, while Assault Mode seems to be more aggressive.

Unlike L-Drago I, L-Drago II introduces rubber parts, which gives Meteo L-Drago its gimmick: spin-steal. The added rubber made L-Drago II one of the heaviest Energy Rings at the time of its release. L-Drago II also features patterns on the dragon heads and between gaps, which can added through stickers.

Thanks to the spin-steal capability from L-Drago II, it is able to absorb spin from other opponents and increase it's spin speed, and with this capability from L-Drago II, does not make L-Drago II do well in Attack-Type combinations due to it relying on absorbing the opponent's spin to spin faster. The overall rubber on the edges of the Energy Ring however, makes L-Drago II works best in Stamina-Type combinations, and if paired with a stamina-type tip(s) such as Wide Defense or Eternal Wide Defense, it is able to maintain its stamina for long periods of time, even with just a few hits from the other rotating bey.

Fusion Wheel - Meteo

Meteo features six protrusions of an alternating pattern between "jaws" and "claws". It is a small Fusion Wheel, as most of the contact points include the rubber from L-Drago II for spin steal. The jaw protrusion is smooth, while the claw protrusion is rugged. Meteo is meant to solely interact with L-Drago II and its variants (Assault and Rush) and cannot be used with other Energy Rings. L-Drago II can be placed in two different positions on top of Meteo to switch between modes: Assault Mode (強襲モード, Kyōshū Mōdo), where L-Drago II's dragon heads cover the claws, and Rapid-Hit Mode (連打モード, Renda Mōdo), where the heads cover the jaws.

Spin Track - Left Wing 105

Main article: Spin Track - Left Wing 105

Left Wing 105 (LW105) is an upgraded version of 105 with three small "wings" at its sides, replacing 105's handle-bar protrusions. The wings are meant to push air upwards similar to DF145, in order to provide additional Stamina to the Bey. However, the effect is barely noticeable and performs just like an average 105. While Wing 105 has two wings facing the rightward direction, Left Wing 105 has three wings facing the leftward direction. It also weighs, (very slightly) more than 105, providing slightly better defense. 105 can be used for Attack Types if the Spin Tracks, 100, 90, or 85 are not available.

Performance Tip - Left Flat

Main article: Performance Tip - Left Flat

Left Flat (LF) is a mirrored non-rubber version of Right Rubber Flat (R2F). Like Right Rubber Flat, Left Flat features six curves forming a star-like shape, but going in a left-ward counter-clockwise motion. Due to its orientation, Left Flat is ideal for use in left-spinning Beyblades only. It also makes aggressive movements due to the star-shape, making it difficult to control.
