Naked Bahamut 10 Universe Metsu (ネイキッドバハムート・テン・ユニバース・滅, Neikiddo Bahamūto Ten Yunibāsu Metsu) is a Defense Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatinko Layer System. It was released in Japan on April 25th, 2020 for 1100円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 20.
Gatinko Chip - Bahamut
- Main article: Gatinko Chip - Bahamut
Bahamut is a left-spin Gatinko Chip that depicts a dragon-like creature in the form of Bahamut, a monster from Arabic folklore. The design is reminiscent of its predecessor, Arc Bahamut. Bahamut has a standard weight for Gatinko Chips, and average Burst Resistance. Its mediocre Burst Resistance is due to its seven fine locks, and thus a Dash Driver is recommended if Bahamut is being used.
Hasbro's Pro Series Balkesh is virtually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Bahamut, but manufactured with weaker materials.
Layer Weight - Metsu
- Main article: Layer Weight - Metsu
Metsu is a Layer Weight with four hexagons, two on each side, resulting in a Z shape. Its weight is distributed at each of these hexagons, allowing it to synergize well with two-sided Layer Bases such as Judgement and Zwei. However, it is not as heavy as the Goku Layer Weight, and thus is outclassed in Attack Combinations. While it is lighter than the Ten Layer Weight, Metsu has a superior weight distribution for Attack Combinations, and thus can be used as a second choice Layer Weight if Goku is unavailable.

In-depth information for the Naked Layer Base will be placed here once drafting has been completed for it. Please be patient.
Forge Disc - 10
- Main article: Forge Disc - 10
10, like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features five protrusions, each molded into the shape of a "10". The protrusions extend further from the center more than other Core Discs which grants 10 high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and subsequent Stamina potential. Furthermore, the size of the protrusions makes 10 one of the heaviest Core Discs at the time of writing, heavier than 7 but less than 0, and grants an ideal weight distribution for Stamina Combinations. Its high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) grants it not only the highest Stamina potential out of all other Core Discs, but its weight grants it high Attack and Defense potential. With the use of Frames, 10 can be used to great effect in any Combination.
Performance Tip - Universe
- Main article: Performance Tip - Universe
Universe is a Defense Type Performance Tip that features a free spinning wide hemispherical ball tip with a free spinning outer ring. In theory, the wide ball tip would increase Knock-Out (KO) Defense by having greater surface area and friction. However, in practice the free spin of the wide ball tip reduces KO Defense. The free spinning outer ring is intended to keep the Universe combination upright after being knocked off balance, as well as acting as brakes to prevent Knock-Outs.
Due to the large surface area of the wide ball tip, Universe will typically circle around the ridge of the stadium when hard launched, resulting in a Self Knock-Out. However, this issue is not present in larger stadiums such as the Beystadium DB Standard Type. This weakness means Universe should only be launched softly in smaller stadiums, and use against Same-Spin Opponents should be avoided.
