Ball or B is a Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy. It debuted in Japan with the release of the BB-11 Starter Wolf D125B on August 9, 2008, and in Western countries with the release of the BB-45 Rock Aries ED145B Starter Pack.
Description[]
Ball (B) is a hemispherical plastic tip, providing a large area for contacting the stadium floor, hence increasing friction. Ball's shape also makes the Bey tend to stay in the center of the stadium, making ideal for use in Defense combinations.
Overall[]
Ball can used if Performance Tips like Wide Ball are unavailable. However, both Performance Tips have been outclassed by the likes of Coating Spike, Rubber Semi Flat, and Rubber Spike, all of which inherently have better defense use due to the inclusion of rubber.
As such, Ball is recommended for collection purposes only.
