Final Survive or F:S is a 4D System Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy. It debuted in Japan with the release of the BB-108 Starter L-Drago Destroy F:S on April 23, 2011 and in western countries with the release of the Hyper-Strike Battle Set by Hasbro.
Description
When Final Survive (F:S) is launched, centripetal (outward) force causes the two sliders to move outwards which keeps the Spike (S) tip in place, creating an aggressive Hole Flat (HF). As spin rotation decreases, the Spike tip ejects, conserving spin. The Spike mode is meant to coincide with L-Drago Destructor's spin absorption capabilties, however, due to its poor friction, it actually absorbs less spin than the Hole Flat mode.
Final Survive is meant to a mirror of Cosmic Pegasus' Final Drive, which switches from a Stamina mode to an Attack mode, with Final Survive switching from an Attack mode to a Stamina mode.
