Gyro (ジャイロ, Jairo) is a Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy as a part of the Burst System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-31 Starter, Yggdrasil Ring Gyro, on February 20th, 2016. It later debuted in western countries with the release of Hasbro's Caynox & Wyvron W2 Dual Pack.

Description

The free rotation of its tip reduces friction with the stadium floor, making it easy to spin for a long time.
— Official Description

Gyro features a small free-spinning, low angled cone tip and is at the height of a standard Performance Tip. In prime condition, Gyro causes the Beyblade to have a calm movement pattern while the low angle of the tip resists Destabilization and subsequent scrape risks. The free-spinning nature of Gyro allows it to outclass its predecessor Survive in Stamina potential.

Use in Stamina Combinations

Gyro can be used in the Stamina Combination Deathscyther Spread Gyro, with outstanding Stamina similar to Deathscyther Heavy Defense's.

Use as an Attack/Stamina Hybrid

Gyro can be used in the Attack/Stamina Hybrid Valkyrie Heavy Gyro, which is designed to win against Stationary Deathscyther Combinations by Burst, like its counterpart, Valkyrie Heavy/Spread Survive. It can do this consistently like Valkyrie Heavy Xtreme, but with less risk of Self-Knock-Outs. While Gyro is more prone to being Destabilized than Performance Tips such as Claw and Survive, its superior Stamina makes up for this.

Overall

Gyro's Stamina is very similar to that of Defense, however, with the release of Revolve and Atomic, Gyro has become severely outclassed.

As such, Gyro is recommended for collection purposes only.
