Impact (インパクト, Inpakuto) is a Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dual Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-48 Starter, Xeno Xcalibur Magnum Impact, on July 2nd, 2016. It later debuted in western countries with the release of Hasbro's Starter Pack, Xeno Xcalius X2 Magnum Impact.
Description
Impact is an Attack Type Performance Tip that features a star shaped rubber tip with three points. The plastic of the Performance Tip extends between these three points on the rubber tip, filling in the space.
However, the two different surfaces makes Impact difficult to control and effectively reduces its Stamina, as the two different surfaces are contacting the stadium floor simultaneously, worsening the friction between the Performance Tip and the stadium floor. The constant change in surface effectively halts the Performance Tip: speeding up with the rubber, then slowing down with the plastic, and so forth. Because of this, Impact is not recommended for any Combination.
Overall
Due to its attributes, Impact is not recommended for use in Attack, Defense, or Stamina Combinations, as its lack of control hinders its ability to Attack effectively, and it has too little Stamina to be a viable choice in any other Combinations.
As such, Impact is recommended for collection purposes only.
