Kick (キック, Kikku) is a Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-185 Booster Vanish Fafnir Tapered Kick-3 on May 29th, 2021.
Description
Kick is a Performance Tip that features a low-angled cone shaped tip protruding from a cylinder with an outer ring around it. The tip of Kick has a similar shape to that of Survive with some minor differences. In theory, the outer ring gimmick supports itself when hit, relying on built-in springs to re-stabilize itself. However in practice, the gimmick rarely works as intended, and even when it does, the effects are minimal. Furthermore, at low spin velocities Kick will often scrape, reducing Stamina.
Kick is further hampered by a lack of Stamina against both Same and Opposite Spin opponents. It is heavily outclassed by other Stamina Type Performance Tips, such as High Xtend+'.
