Metal Dimension (メタルディメンション, Metaru Dimenshon) is a Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-196 Random Booster Vol. 28 on March 19th, 2022.
Description
Metal Dimension is the Metal Lock Driver version of the Dimension Performance Tip, featuring a Metal Lock and a stronger spring, increasing weight and Burst Resistance. The Metal Lock has shorter tabs than standard and Dash Locks, resulting in lower Burst Resistance, despite the stronger spring.
Like its normal counterpart, Metal Dimension has a manual height changing gimmick and a stepped spiral design around its perimeter, with a rubber sharp tip in its center. A notched ring around its rubber sharp tip can be rotated to increase the Performance Tip's height, as well as retracting and exposing the rubber sharp tip. There are three heights in total, and combined with the two settings for the rubber sharp tip (exposed or retracted), there are six configurations in total.
