Orbit-Q is a Performance Tip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Destruction Belfyre B7 and Decay Perseus P7 Dual Pack.

Description[]

Orbit-Q is Hasbro's QuadDrive counterpart to the Orbit Performance Tip, and thus features a plastic ball tip. However, unlike the original Orbit, Orbit-Q's ball tip lacks free rotation and the three tabbed ring. Furthermore, the shape has been modified for two attachment points to accommodate the use of an Armor Tip. Like all QuadDrive Performance Tips, an Armor Tip can be attached to Orbit-Q, switching it to "Plus Mode". In this mode, Orbit-Q is essentially replaced by the Armor Tip, and the height becomes similar to a SpeedStorm Performance Tip. Orbit-Q features high Burst Resistance comparable to Assault-Q, and thus it is recommended to use Orbit-Q as the base QuadDrive Performance Tip for an Armor Tip.

Overall[]

Due to the removal of its gimmick, Orbit-Q is too outclassed to find any competitive use. However, Orbit-Q finds use as a viable base QuadDrive Performance Tip for Armor Tips.

As such, Orbit-Q is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to a blader's collection.
