Quest (クエスト, Kuesuto) is a Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-128 Cho-Z Customize Set on November 17th, 2018. It later debuted in western countries with the release of Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack, Orb Engaard Sting-P Quest.
Description
Quest is a Defense Type Performance Tip with a free spinning, downward facing conical suction cup tip, with a sharp tip in the center. Due to the suction cup tip, a combination utilizing Quest will stick to the Stadium floor, keeping the combination in place and providing the highest Knock-Out Resistance of any Performance Tip. However, this high KO Resistance comes with a trade-off; due to the nature of its gimmick, a Quest combination will have poor Stamina and high amounts of tilt.
Overall
Despite its high Knock-Out Resistance, its poor Stamina makes it a poor choice for Defense Combinations, and is thus outclassed by other Performance Tips such as Atomic.
As such, Quest is recommended for collection purposes only.
