Shot-Q is a Performance Tip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the QuadDrive Starter Pack, Salvage Valtryek V7 Squadron-Q Shot-Q+Shot-7.

Description

Shot-Q is Hasbro's QuadDrive counterpart to the Shot Performance Tip, and features Shot's default sharp tipped mode prior to its gimmick activation. Unlike the Shot Performance Tip, which is a Disc Integrated Driver, Shot-Q features no gimmick, instead being a static Stamina Type Performance Tip. Due to the narrow tip however, Shot-Q is easily knocked over, rendering it outclassed for Stamina and Defense Type Combinations.

Like other QuadDrive Performance Tips, Shot-Q features two attachment points to accommodate the use of an Armor Tip, switching it to "Plus Mode". In this mode, Shot-Q is essentially replaced by the Armor Tip, and the height becomes similar to a SpeedStorm Performance Tip. Shot-Q features high Burst Resistance comparable to Assault-Q, and thus it is recommended to use Shot-Q as the base QuadDrive Performance Tip for an Armor Tip.

Overall

Shot-Q finds use as a viable base QuadDrive Performance Tip for Armor Tips.

As such, Shot-Q is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to a blader's collection.
