Template:Infobox:MFB Character Pheonix (フェニックス, Fenikkusu)i s a reccuring character in the Metal Saga, making his debut Beyblade: Metal Fusion.
He is the mysterious alter ego of Ryo Hagane, who watched over Gingka and his friends Journey against the Dark Nebula. Ryo originally disbanded his Phoenix days but dons it when need be. Even so Phoenix is a powerful beyblader who turns his enemies to ashes with his Burn Fireblaze 135MS.
Physical Appearance
Phoenix is always dressed in a red coat, reaching down to his knees. He also constantly wore a metal mask and wig that appear to sybbolize a phoenix, to hide his identity. He wears a black/brown shirt and long pants for the time being and carries Burn Fireblaze on his belt.

- Burn Fireblaze 135MS: (Burn Phoenix 135MS in the Japanese version) is Phoenix's Beyblade in both the anime and manga.
Special Moves
Burning Fire Strike: Phoenix's first finishing move is Burning Explosion (バーニングエクスプロージョン, Baaningu Ekusupuroojon). Phoenix first used this attack in Episode 33 (anime)
Trivia
- Pheonix's beyblade Burn Fireblaze 135MS could be a pun on how he returned after being thought to be dead like the legendary Pheonix.
- He bears a strong resemblance to Spectra Phantom from Bakugan.
