Phoenix Wing 9-60GF (フェニックスウイング9-60(ナインシクスティー)GF(ギヤフラット), Fenikkusu Uingu Nain Shikusutī Giya Furatto; Phoenix Wing Nine Sixty Gear Flat) is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy. It was released as a Starter in Japan on December 10th, 2023 as a promotional Toys R' Us pre-sale for 2420円. Its regular retail release in Japan was on December 27th, 2023 for 2420円.

It later debuted in western countries as Soar Phoenix 9-60GF in the Soar Phoenix Deluxe String Launcher Set released by Hasbro for USD$19.99 in the United States.

It is the successor to Blaze Fujiwara's Phoenix Feather 3-60F and is succeeded by Phoenix Rudder 9-70G.

Blade - Phoenix Wing

Main article: Blade - Phoenix Wing

Soar Phoenix (Japanese: PhoenixWing) is a three-sided Attack Type Blade with three blades acting as the main contact points. The Gear Chip features the phoenix spreading its wings.

The three blades slope upwards, creating Upper Attack. At the start of each of the three blades is a protruding "Launcher Hook" - unlike other Blades, Phoenix Wing's Launcher Hooks protrude past the perimeter of the Blade, creating contact points. When lined up with the three larger protrusions of the 9-60 Ratchet, this creates "Attack Points" with high amounts of Smash Attack.

At the time of its release, Phoenix Wing, along with another painted "Metal Coat" Blade Cobalt Drake, was the heaviest Blade at an average weight of 38.0 grams. It was surpassed 7 months later with the release of Aero Pegasus. However, any releases of Phoenix Wing produced during October 2024 onward have a new reinforced mold that weighs 39.0 grams on average. This second mold was first released with Phoenix Wing 9-80DB, and was later included with reprints of Phoenix Wing 9-60GF and Phoenix Wing 5-80H.

At 38.0-39.3 grams, Phoenix Wing is heavier than most Defense and Stamina Blades, and is the heaviest Attack Blade at the time of writing (November 2024). Combined with its aggressive shape, Phoenix Wing is highly versatile, and can be used on flat Bits such as Low Flat (LF) and Rush (R) for a powerful Attack combination, or on Bits such as Ball (B) and Needle (N) for Balance combinations. Alternatively, Point (P) and Taper (T) have been popular alternatives as well for Attack combinations. At the time of writing, Phoenix Wing and the Rush Bit have been heavily used together in B4 and WBO tournaments since its release.

Ratchet - 9-60

Main article: Ratchet - 9-60

The 9-60 Ratchet features 9 protrusions at a 6.0 millimeter height. Compared to previous Ratchets, the protrusions of 9-60 are narrower and do not protrude outwards as much. 9-60 has lower Burst risk than other 60 height Ratchets due to its smaller protrusions and low height, which reduce the amount of Ratchet contact with the opponent. Six of the nine protrusions are merely small nubs, while three are intended to line up with the Launcher Hooks of the Phoenix Wing Blade, creating "Attack Points" with high Smash Attack.

Bit - Gear Flat

Main article: Bit - Gear Flat

Gear Flat or GF is an Attack Type Bit that features a flat tip with the gears intended for the Xtreme Dash gimmick extending to the bottom of the tip. The result is a twelve-pointed wide flat tip with a shallow circular indentation in the center. Consequently, Gear Flat has extremely aggressive movement, and can more easily activate the Xtreme Line (X-Celerator Rail) to perform the Xtreme Dash gimmick.
