Power Speed Launcher

The Power Speed Launcher is a Launcher released as part of the Beyblade Burst QuadStrike series. It was released by Hasbro in western countries in November 2022 in the Xcalius Power Speed Launcher Set.

Overall

Hasbro's Power Speed Launcher is a Ripcord Launcher based on Takara Tomy's Power Custom Sword Launcher LR. Its ripcord handle and general Launcher details resemble those of the Power Custom Sword Launcher LR. Unlike Hasbro's previous Sword Launcher, the ripcord is the same basic design as standard Hasbro Ripcord Launchers and the previously released Spark Power Launcher.

As its name implies, the Power Speed Launcher features two launch settings, similar to the original Takara Tomy Sword Launcher; there are four ripcord slots, with a Power and a Speed setting for either spin direction. The Power setting features a smaller gear, and thus a greater gear ratio, leading to 8 rotations and a more powerful launch. The Speed setting features a standard gear, with 6 rotations; the reduced number of rotations leads to a faster launch, hence the "Speed" setting. However, the Power setting is recommended over the Speed setting in all cases, as there is no competitive advantage to launching first at the cost of rotations.

In the anime, this Launcher was used by Xander Shakadera^[1]. Bel Daizora later created his own Power Speed Launcher to use with his Destined Belfyre.^[2] Pri Forsythe also briefly borrowed Bel's Power Speed Launcher for her match against Valt Aoi.^[3]
