Right Spin
Right-spin (右回転, Migi Kaiten; Right Rotation) Beyblades, as the name implies, are Beyblades that spin in a rightward, clockwise direction. Right-spin Beyblades are generally the standard, with clockwise rotation being the most common spin direction. This trend began in the Metal Series toyline, and continued for the Burst and X toylines. In the Original Series, it is possible to change the spin direction by swapping Spin Gears; however, left-spin Spin Gears were almost exclusively released with the Dragoon line of Beyblades.
Starting with the release of the Gatinko Layer System in Beyblade Burst Rise, some components are only compatible with those of the same spin direction. For example, the right-spin Valkyrie Gatinko Chip is only compatible with right-spin and dual-spin Layer Bases.
When against left-spin opponents, these Beyblades can perform some degree of spin absorption as both Beys spin in opposite direction, transferring and equalizing spin energy between each other.
In the X Series, right-spin Beyblades such as DranSword indicates its spin direction with the arrow turning clockwise on the Gear Chip.
