The Rip Grind Beystadium is an oval Stadium released as part of the Extreme Top System. It was released by Hasbro in western countries for USD$9.99 in the United States.

Description[]

Turn up the excitement with this awesome RIP GRIND BEYSTADIUM arena.
— Official Description

The Rip Grind Beystadium by Hasbro was designed specifically for the Extreme Top System, but can also be used with any Beyblades from the Metal Series toyline. It is colored bright red. This stadium has an oval shape, and like most of the Metal Fury Beystadiums, it has no exits. Its main tornado ridge is very small, and its low slope nullifies the ability for Bladers to use the Sliding Shoot technique, even with rubber Bottoms. Furthermore, the lack of exits makes Attack Types useless in the stadium. On the opposite side of the primary play area is a smaller circular "tornado ridge", which is about 4.5 centimeters in diameter. It was most likely designed to trap a Beyblade's Bottom, holding it in place. However, Beyblades with rubber or aggressive bottoms can get out of the ridge fairly easily.

Near the bottom of the stadium's wall is an upward curve, which allows a Beyblade with a round bottom, like X:D or CF, to "ride" the walls. However, this should not be seen as an advantage because this reduces the Beyblade's Stamina even more. This curve may also have been designed to make the Beyblades rebound off the walls in an upwards motion, in an attempt to make a battle more exciting. This stadium also has a blue print that spells out the letters, "XTS" in a graffiti style. This print can sometimes stick on Bottoms.

The complete lack of exits, absence of a decent slope, non-effectiveness of the "trap", as well as the print coating combos' Bottoms, are all reasons to not use this stadium. The stadium is primarily advantageous for Stamina and Defense Types, as the lack of exits makes Attack Types useless. Furthermore, since Attack Types are useless, Defense Types are not needed, so any low Stamina combo will do well in this stadium. Since it does not give a fair chance for all types, this stadium should only be used for casual play.
