Rock Leone 145WB is an Defense-type Beyblade that appears in the Beyblade: Metal Fusion anime. It is owned by Kyoya Tategami. Its evolved form is Fang Leone 130W2D.

Face Bolt: Leone

The Face on this Beyblade depicts Leo and one of the 88 constellation in space , the fifth astrological sign in the zodiac. Leo is the Lion.

Energy Ring: Leone

Main article: Energy Ring - Leone

Leone I is a round Energy Ring that consists of a six-segmented design with two repeating patterns: three segments have a smooth armor-like pattern, with the other three have a rougher design with gaps between small ridges. Leone I features camouflage stickers for its detailing. Its round shape gives it use in Defense and Stamina Combinations, which Leone I initially found success in.

The light weight of Fusion Wheels compared to Synchrome Combinations and their larger diameter (which makes Leone I's raised design disadvantageous and removes the benefits of its side angles) has lead to Leone I being outclassed by lower profile alternatives such as Cygnus and Gasher. Despite this, Leone I remains a usable if somewhat outclassed option for Combinations utilizing the Duo Fusion Wheel.

Leone I has returned to prominence in the WBO's MFB Limited Format on low Track Defense Combinations thanks to its smooth shape and rounded sides. When paired with certain Fusion Wheels such as Bakushin, it creates an uninterrupted graduation and smooth sides that are difficult for an opponent to grip onto. Leone I enhances the Defensive capabilities of low Spin Track Defense Combinations more than heavier Energy Rings such as Aquario, and this outweighs the advantage of any Destabilization offered by Bull or Gasher.

Fusion Wheel: Rock

Main article: Fusion Wheel - Rock

Rock has six large protrusions with small, shallow gaps between each one. It also overhangs the Spin Track much like the original Leone Metal Wheel, although to a smaller extent. Rock is outclassed by later releases, with its weight being unable to compete with most Fusion Wheels, and its rounded shape being too passive to be any real threat in Attack combinations.

Spin Track: 145

Main article: Spin Track - 145

145, along with its variants (Claw 145 (C145), Down Force 145 (DF145), etc.), was once the highest Spin Track available, until the 230 Spin Track was released with Flame Byxis 230WD. 145 can be used in Stamina Type combinations to great effect due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its spin velocity. However, gimmick-paired Spin Tracks such as Boost Disk 145 (BD145) have immensely outclassed their original basic variant, as have several taller gimmick Spin Tracks, especially against heavy, mid-height Attack customisations. Even in stamina battles, 145 does not offer enough balance: Spin Tracks such as Armor Defense 145 (AD145) and Wide Defense 145 (WD145) provide a good center of gravity, and aid with a slight downforce to maintain stability.

Performance Tip: Wide Ball (WB)

Main article: Performance Tip - Wide Ball

Wide Ball (WB), as the name implies, is simply Ball with a larger surface. As a result, Wide Ball outclasses Ball in terms of defense. The greater surface area creates more movement compared to Ball. This is disadvantageous against Attack Type combinations, as it increases the chance of a knockout.

Overall

Rock Leone 145WB is comprised of predominantly outclassed parts, except for 145, which is accessible in many other beyblades with better parts such as "Earth Eagle 145WD". This Beyblade is now thoroughly outclassed, and should only be bought for collection purposes.
