Roktavor R3 Triple Revolve, known as Blaze Ragnaruk Triple Revolve (ブレイズラグナルク・トリプル・リボルブ, Bureizu Ragunaruku Toripuru Riboribu) in Japan, is a Stamina Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the God Layer System. It was released on Japan in October 21st, 2017 for 972円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 8 Shelter Regulus.5S.Tw.
Energy Layer - Roktavor R3
Main article: Energy Layer - Roktavor R3
Roktavor R3 is a round Energy Layer designed for Stamina. Consisting of a small inner layer made of clear plastic and four wings, two of which are small and made of clear plastic and two of which are large are made of colored plastic. The large wings are molded to create the visage of heads to match the anime's rendition of the Layer's beast, a winged demon. The small clear wings are dubbed the "Stamina Wings" and make up the gimmick of this Layer.
In theory, the edges of the wings would extend from their hinges and increase a Beyblade's stamina by increasing the Layer's Outward Weight Distribution, however in practice the size of the wings are simply too small to cause any noticeable weight shift and thus serve no real purpose.
The compact placement of the wings creates a very round design where any protrusions and gaps from and between the wings are too shallow to create high recoil. The large size of the wings imply high Outward Weight Distribution and Stamina potential but in actuality, Roktavor R3's Stamina is only average. The Takara Tomy release, Blaze Ragnaruk, features four teeth of tall height giving this Layer high Burst resistance.
Forge Disc - Triple
Main article: Forge Disc - Triple
Triple is a three-sided Forge Disc, which is circular, with a triangle stacked atop it creating knob protrusions. It has use in Attack, especially on three sided layers like Valkyrie since it focuses some weight around those three main protrusions, but it is not as useful as a Forge Disc like Gravity, as it is too light to be really effective in Attack, and too imbalanced to use in other Combinations.
Performance Tip - Revolve
Main article: Performance Tip - Revolve
Revolve features a sharp tip of a small diameter surrounded by a free-spinning ring, akin to the Around Sharp Performance Tip from the Metal Fight Saga. The sharp tip of Revolve provides low friction with the stadium floor, resulting in high Stamina and Burst Defense properties. While the small diameter of the sharp tip may imply easy Destabilization, the wide diameter of the free-spinning ring helps maintain stability. The wide diameter of the ring also provides Revolve high procession time which is useful against Opposite-Spin and Mobile Stamina Combinations. Furthermore, when launched at an angle, the free-spinning ring of Revolve makes more contact with the stadium floor resulting in decent KO resistance, however said KO resistance still lags behind that of Orbit and Atomic due to the lower surface area and some Beyblades that are off center are easier to Burst.
In the current metagame, Revolve is best suited for Pure Stamina Combinations due to the release of Atomic. However, Revolve's spring lock is stronger than that of Atomic and Orbit's, allowing it to be a safer choice for Layers with weak teeth such as Deep Chaos.
Due to considerable manufacturing variations, Bladers must be careful when using this Tip. Some variations of Revolve do not spin freely as they should, and the disc becomes very stiff to tilt. Others have the disc pop out after significant usage. For competitive use, the most free-spinning one is ideal. The chances of obtaining one, however, are random.
