Layer Base - Royal

Main article: Layer Base - Royal

Hasbro's Royal is a right-spin Defense Type Base based on Takara Tomy's Regalia Genesis Layer. As such, it has a similar overall oval shape. However, Royal heavily differs from Regalia Genesis in many aspects: instead of a single Layer, it is a Base that is compatible with any right-spin or dual-spin HyperSphere System GT Chip. Furthermore, this modification has removed the "Infinite Lock" gimmick and compatibility with the "Bigbang Armor".

Even when used with GT Chips with high Burst Resistance, Royal is too recoil heavy, thus increasing the risk of Bursting. Royal has too much recoil for use in Defense and Stamina Combinations, and lacks useful contact points for use in Attack Combinations. Consequently, Royal is outclassed in any type of combination.

Forge Disc - Swipe

Main article: Forge Disc - Swipe

Hasbro's Swipe is a Forge Disc based on Takara Tomy's Disc Integrated Driver Hybrid. As such, it retains the symmetrical design and detailing of Hybrid. The design of Swipe is very similar to the 8 and 8' Core Discs, with similar Outward Weight Distribution (OWD). However, unlike these two Core Discs, Swipe does not have gaps akin to Knuckle.

Like all HyperSphere Forge Discs, the underside is hollowed out, reducing its weight to the standard 20 grams of HyperSphere Forge Discs. Thus, Swipe is a strictly inferior version of the aforementioned Core Discs. Like all HyperSphere Forge Discs and Core Discs, Swipe can use a Disc Frame.
