Savage Slammers, known as Republic of Ecuador Team (エクアドル共和国チーム, Ekuadoru Kyōwakoku Chīmu) in Japan, are a team featured in the Original Series, consisting of Beyblade: 2000.

The Savage Slammers are the Ecuadorian representative team. They are from the Galapagos Archipelago so all of their members are accustomed to blading in nature. They are impossible to understand and have been described as unusual or elusive. Ray couldn't sense their fighting spirit or killing intent, so he underestimated them, while the All Starz were afraid to battle them because of how difficult it was to gather data on them. They have explained that they received their Beyblades from animals but their stories seem far-fetched. Coincidentally, they all resemble the animals that gave them their Beyblades.
History[]
Beyblade: 2000[]
They participate in the American Tournament in the USA, losing to the Bladebreakers in the Second Round (B Block). Diego successfully defeated Ray, while Fernando and Axel lost to Max and Tyson, respectively. After Tyson's win, the Savage Slammers approach the Bladebreakers, their expressions indiscernible. However, all they wanted was to ask the Bladebreakers for autographs, hand shakes and photos. Then, The Savage Slammers are seen again in the Russian World Championships saga where they become Tyson’s allies/supporters and where they watch the final Beybattle between Tyson and Tala on TV.
