The Face Bolt depicts "Cronus", the God of Harvest in Greek mythology. Cronus was the leader of the Titans, and is commonly depicted with a scythe. The design depicts a skull-like face with smoke-like substance behind it, and two scythes creating the face.

Fusion Wheel - Scythe

Scythe is a 4D Metal Wheel and as such is made of two components, a PC Frame and a Metal Frame, to facilitate a mode change gimmick. The round Fusion Wheel is flat and disk-like, with a free-spinning PC Frame. The round shape gives Scythe a decent performance in Stamina Type combinations. Scythe is thin, and thus makes minimum contact with the opposing Bey, preserving spin velocity. Scythe is one of the thinnest and lightest Fusion Wheels in the Metal Fury toyline.

Spin Track - Tornado 125

Main article: Spin Track - Tornado 125

Tornado 125 has four upward-facing wing protrusions spaced apart widely. The Spin Track is designed to work in a similar way to Down Force 145, although the effect it produces is negligible. The performance of Tornado 125 is similar to Defense 125, and in terms of height, it is generally overshadowed by Change Height 120.

Performance Tip - Eternal Defense Spike

Main article: Performance Tip - Eternal Defense Spike

Eternal Defense Spike is a free-spinning variant of Defense Spike, in the same vein as Eternal Spike and Spike. It is also one of the tallest Performance Tips, and thus can prevent floor scrapes when using Spin Tracks such as 85 or Boost Disk 145. The spike portion of the tip will eventually wear down, and EDS will become a flat-type tip. As such, multiple copies are recommended for tournament play.

Trivia

  • Scythe Kronos rarely uses Attack Mode in the anime.
  • It is the first and only Bey to feature the T125EDS combo.
  • Despite being based off of the Greek God and Titan Cronus, Kronos' beast in the anime is much more akin to the Grim Reaper in appearance, (coincidentally both deities are depicted wielding a scythe).
