Shining Amaterios 0 Destroy' is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatinko Layer System. It was released in Japan on February 22nd, 2020 for 660円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 19 Burn Phoenix.Y.Wd.

Energy Layer - Shining Amaterios

Main article: Energy Layer - Shining Amaterios

Takara Tomy's Shining Amaterios (or Burning Amaterios) is an Attack Type Layer that features 2 sets of 5 alternating blades. Like its predecessor Shadow Amaterios, the center of the Layer features the Layer's namesake: Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun in Japanese mythology. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Shining Amaterios features metal in its design: 5 of its blades are lined with metal and have plastic components that can extend outwards to expand the Layer's attack range. The other set of 5 blades are static, featuring 2 plastic protrusions each. Compared to Shadow Amaterios, Shining Amaterios has smoother extendable plastic blades and is half a gram lighter. In theory, this creates a versatile Attack Type Layer, that has both continuous strikes and powerful strikes from the 5 metal-lined blades.

In reality, the shape of Shining Amaterios is poorly suited for Attack combinations, with the gaps between blades being too small. In addition, the extension gimmick rarely activates. Consequently, Shining Amaterios is best suited for Stamina combinations, as its shape works well in Same-Spin and Opposite-Spin Stamina matchups.

Like many other Cho-Z Layers, Shining Amaterios can increase weight and reduce Burst risk with the use of a Level Chip that fits underneath the Layer.

Forge Disc - 0

Main article: Forge Disc - 0

0 is a symmetrical Forge Disc that's elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features one protrusion, each wide and smooth enough to almost make the Forge Disc perfectly circular if not for the notches needed to add a Disc Frame and a molded "0" on each side. The protrusions extend further and are thicker than most other Forge Discs which makes 0 one of the heaviest Forge Discs and implies high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and Stamina potential. In reality however, more weight is focused towards the center, which creates Centralized Weight Distribution (CWD) that reduces its Stamina to that of 2's. As such, 0 is outclassed by 7 for Stamina Combinations but 0's greater weight makes it ideal for Attack and Defense Combinations. Furthermore, the round shape of 0 creates high Life-After-Death, even without the use of Disc Frames such as Cross. While the weight can increase the risk of Bursts, the weight of most SwitchStrike/God Layers and Cho-Z Layers can compensate.

Performance Tip - Destroy'

Main article: Performance Tip - Destroy'

Destroy' features an eight-pointed star tip, akin to Jaggy, under a free-spinning plate that sits at a standard height.

Due to the tip's shape and diameter, Destroy' will create an aggressive movement pattern equivalent to Jaggy with the same moderately controllable movement pattern and speed.

What sets Destroy' apart from Jaggy is the free-spinning plate that is meant to stabilize a Beyblade if it is knocked off balance by creating a second point of contact with only minimal Stamina loss due to its free-spinning nature. Unlike other Tips with similar gimmicks such as Cycle and Guard, the low placement of Destroy''s plate ensures that lock up does not occur, meaning that Destroy''s gimmick works as intended.

While Destroy' has poor Stamina from the star shaped tip, the smooth perimeter and free-spinning nature of the plate also grants Destroy' high Life-After-Death which can allow Combinations to potentially Out-Spin their opponent if a Burst or Knock-Out has not been achieved.

Like other Dash Performance Tips, Destroy' features a stronger spring lock, increasing the Performance Tip's Burst Resistance.

There is a mold variation of Destroy': the mold released by Hasbro in the Elite Champions Pro Set has a regular spring, which means it is in fact a normal Destroy, rather than the Dash Driver version.
