Orochi or Orojya (ロジャ, Orojya) is a Shogun Face Bolt released by Takara Tomy as part of the Synchrome System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the BBG-08 Booster Pirates Orojya 145D on March 31, 2012, and in western countries with the release of the SS-08 Starter Pack Pirate Orochi 145D.
Description[]
Orochi depicts "Yamata no Orochi", or simply "Orochi"; the mythical 8-headed and 8-tailed dragon. Its design is three snake heads, side-by-side, are glaring at the front. Each snake features reptilian scales and reptilian eyes. They also have two sharp fangs nearby. The snake in the center curves to the right, in a slithering such manner; while the remaining two are parallel to one another.
The BBG-08 Takara Tomy Booster release comes with a Metal Stone Face rather than the standard, plastic Stone Face. As with all Shogun Face Bolts, the Hasbro release of Orochi is cross-shaped rather than the round diamond shape of its Takara Tomy Stone Face counterpart.
