Energy Layer - Sieg Xcalibur[]

The motif is of the holy sword, Xcalibur. A right-spin Attack Type God Layer that gives a powerful blow to the opponent with the weight of the metal sword-shaped parts.
— Official Description

Takara Tomy's Sieg Xcalibur, like its predecessors Xcalibur and Xeno Xcalibur, is an Attack Type Energy Layer based on the legendary sword Excalibur that features a large sword running down the length of the Layer, the end of which protrudes from the bottom which acts as the primary point of contact. However, due to the exaggerated designs around the sword, the contact point doesn't even protrude as far as Xeno Xcalibur's contact point. To make up for this, Sieg Xcalibur has an overall diamond shape as opposed to round as such a shape creates four recoil heavy points of contact. As part of the God Layer System, Sieg Xcalibur features a gimmick; the sword is made of metal. However the tip of the sword is covered in plastic, to reduce the possibility of breaking the opponent's Layer. This sword has a notable interaction with the Magnum, 1, and 1' Discs: after two clicks, the sword protrusion will line up with the sword protrusions of the Discs.

The inclusion of metal increases the weight of the Layer, granting higher inertia that increases both Knock-Out and Burst Attack as well as increasing the Layer's Burst Resistance as the high inertia resists teeth skipping, a property that compliments the tall teeth of Sieg Xcalibur. However the asymmetrical design of the metal sword means that this Layer is incredibly imbalanced, a trait that drains the Stamina of Combinations and can break a Combination's banking pattern.

However, the large gap where the hilt of the sword lies is liable to denting and even chipping due to how thin the molding is. While not enough to completely break Sieg Xcalibur, if one is fearful of possible performance changes or simply dislikes the damaged appearance, they may want to own multiple copies of this Layer.

Forge Disc - 1[]

Disk1
Main article: Forge Disc - 1

1, like other odd numbered Core Discs, is asymmetrical and elliptical in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. One side features two small sword-tip like protrusions and the other side features a single, larger protrusion of the same shape. 1's gimmick is that it is highly imbalanced, it achieves this by having the side with the larger protrusion being more filled in with metal than the other, akin to Quarter. This weight distribution has two primary uses: The first is to increase the Burst Attack of Attack Combinations by generating momentum like a flail which is further enhanced by the heavy weight of 1. The second is to make a Combination using an imbalanced Layer such as Sieg Xcalibur more properly balanced by aligning the heavier side opposite the the heavier side of the Layer which increases Stamina and Burst Resistance.

Compared to Quarter, 1 has greater success in Attack Combinations and has proven capable of increasing the rate of Bursts despite being lighter than most other Core Discs. However, the same imbalance makes 1 unsuitable for Stamina or Defense as the more imbalanced a Combination is, the easier it is to Burst and the faster it loses Stamina. Furthermore, the imbalance slows down Mobile Attack Combinations, making it better suited for Stationary Attack Combinations.

Performance Tip - Iron[]

DriverIron
Main article: Performance Tip - Iron

Iron features a flat metal tip, akin to Metal Fight Beyblade's Metal Flat Performance Tip, that sits at the standard height with a tip diameter equal to Accel and Hunter.

Due to the surface area, Iron will create a moderately aggressive, and if launched with a Banking Shoot, easily controllable movement pattern. In terms of speed, Iron is on par with Accel and Zephyr, capable of reaching and stalling on the Tornado Ridge. What sets Iron apart from Accel is the low friction of metal which gives Iron greater Stamina than even Zephyr, making it an excellent choice for both Mobile Stamina and Attack/Stamina Balance Combinations. Furthermore, the metal construction also ensures that Iron will not wear out like other Tips such as Xtreme nor be damaged like Zephyr.

However, Iron's low friction is also a weakness as Attack Combinations using Iron can lose their Banking Pattern incredibly easily, especially if the Combinations are imbalanced. Furthermore, the low friction means that Iron is liable to Self-Knock-Outs. Finally, Iron's spring lock mechanism is somewhat weaker than most making it critical to pair it with a Layer with strong teeth such as Twin Nemesis.
