The Slow Motion Burst is an anime-exclusive technique used by Bladers in the Burst Series, where a left-spin Beyblade increases rotation speed after being struck by an opposite spin opponent and Bursts the opponent. It is often used when the left-spin Beyblade is out of Stamina.

Known Users[]

It has made six appearances in the anime so far, with three users.

Free De La Hoya is the 1st known blader who used this technique on-screen against Silas Karlisle in a match in the World League Finals, and then later used it again against Joshua Burns in the International Blader's Cup.

Aiger Akabane was the 2nd blader to use this technique against Evel Oxford‘s Right Artemis Mugen by ramming it with Left Astro Mugen-L using Z Achilles 11 Xtend+ while his corrupt resonance was active.

Fumiya Kindo attempted to use this technique against Venom Devolos Vanguard Bullet when battling Delta Zakuro during the Battle Island Tournament but failed, nearly losing Wizard Fafnir Ratchet Rise Sen in the process.

Free De La Hoya used this technique again against Super Hyperion Xceed 1A when battling Hyuga Hizashi.

In Beyblade Burst QuadDrive, Free used this technique on Destruction Belfyre Nexus Venture-2+F in a rematch with Bel Daizora.
