Spiral Tempo S130MF is a Balance Type Beyblade released by Hasbro as part of the Hybrid Wheel System. It was released in western countries in the Beyblade: Metal Masters Three Thunders 2-Pack for USD$15.99 in the United States.
Face Bolt - Tempo[]
- Main article: Face Bolt - Tempo
The Face Bolt depicts "Horologium", one of the 88 constellations in space. Horologium is Latin for "clock". The design features Horologium stylized as a pendulum clock with four clock hands pointing North, South, East, and West with an eye in the center, as well as four other eyes between the hands.
Energy Ring - Tempo[]
- Main article: Energy Ring - Tempo
Tempo is a circular gear shaped Energy Ring with Roman numerals reminiscent of a clock decorating the circumference. There is a rectangular gap where "III" is supposed to be, and two clock hands causing irregular weight distribution.
A common misconception is the usage of the Roman numeral "IIII" instead of "IV" being an error by Takara Tomy/Hasbro. While the proper Roman numeral for the number 4 is "IV", "IIII" is commonly used on Roman numeral clocks, and hence its usage on the Tempo Energy Ring.
Fusion Wheel - Spiral[]
- Main article: Fusion Wheel - Spiral
Spiral resembles a distorted version of Storm with three wings that curve upwards and line down with a small gap between each wing. Each wing has a slope that is bigger than the other one, and features oval-like protrusions that appears to slightly push-up for Smash Attacks. Before its release, Spiral was advertised as having high Upper Attack due to the slopes, however upon testing, it did not show much Upper Attack at all.
While not having the correct slopes for Upper Attacks, it is however able to conduct Upper Smash Attacks. Spiral is a powerful Attack-Type Fusion Wheel but is outclassed by other Wheels like Beat, Lightning, and Variares. Despite this, Spiral can deal a great amount of Upper Smash Attack if used with the right Energy Ring. Specifically, small Energy Rings that expose more of the metal of Spiral, Pisces and Tempo are recommended, however Pisces has better use. Spiral can be used very effectively in the balance combo MF Spiral Tempo (Screw Horogium) 90MF.
Spin Track - Shield 130[]
- Main article: Spin Track - Shield 130
Shield 130 (S130) is a Spin Track with a horizontal disk attached to its center. This disk consists of eight "arms" linked by plastic, forming an imperfect circle. Shield 130 is lighter than Spin Tracks like Boost Disk 145 and Gravity Ball 145, and thus are outclassed for Defense combinations. However, this Spin Track has found use in Attack combinations where it can add weight without getting in the way of contact points. Its medium height also allows it to score hits on higher Spin Tracks of opposing Beys.
Performance Tip - Metal Flat[]
- Main article: Performance Tip - Metal Flat
Metal Flat (MF), as the name implies, is a flat tip made of metal, giving it an aggressive movement. However, since metal has more traction than plastic flat tips, Metal Flat has more speed due to less friction. However, this means Metal Flat has considerably less Defense. This can be mitigated with a Defense Type Spin Track like Eternal Defense 145 (ED145). In addition, unlike its plastic counterparts, Metal Flat can keep the sliding shoot pattern. Metal Flat also offers greater control and Stamina over its rubber counterparts such as Rubber Flat (RF), but less aggressive movement and recoil control. Due to its aggressive movement and Stamina, Metal Flat also finds use in Tornado Staller combinations.
