Spiral Treptune T4 8 Wedge-S is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the SlingShock System. It was released in western countries as a part of the Spiral Treptune T4 and Lava-X Atlas Anubion A4 Dual Pack for CAD$19.99 in Canada, USD$14.99 in the United States, and AUD$29.99 in Australia.

Energy Layer - Spiral Treptune T4[]

Main article: Energy Layer - Spiral Treptune T4

Hasbro's Spiral Treptune T4 is a Stamina Type Energy Layer based on Takara Tomy's Screw Trident Layer, featuring three large blades to create an overall triangular shape. Despite being based on a God Layer System Energy Layer, Spiral Treptune T4 is instead part of the SlingShock System rather than the SwitchStrike System, and thus lacks the rubber for the "Bound Defense" gimmick of its Takara Tomy counterpart. Although the effects of this gimmick were negligible, the removal of the rubber reduces the Layer's weight by 4 grams, increasing its already high recoil and Burst risk.

Forge Disc - 8[]

Main article: Forge Disc - 8

8, like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features four protrusions, each molded into the shape of an "8". Each of the lower loops of the "8"s features gaps, akin to Knuckle, which takes weight away from the center and creates high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and subsequent Flywheel Effect, features theoretically perfect for Stamina. Furthermore, 8 is one of the heaviest Discs in the game, heavier than Heavy, Gravity, 2, 4, and 6 and its use can bolster a Beyblade's Knock-Out Resistance and Attack potential. However, like other heavy discs with high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) such as Gravity and Ring, the use of 8 severely decreases a Beyblade's Burst Resistance as a trade off.

Performance Tip - Wedge-S[]

Main article: Performance Tip - Wedge-S

Wedge-S, as its name implies, is a SlingShock Performance Tip based off of Takara Tomy’s Wedge. However, unlike the original Wedge, Wedge-S' low-angled cone tip is made of colored plastic, has a larger metal cylinder base, and features two tabs on either side of the the colored plastic base, which is meant for the activation of its “SlingShock Mode”. As a part of the SlingShock System, Wedge-S can be manually altered to switch between “Battle Ring Mode” and “SlingShock Mode”; in this case, by pushing one of the tabs to the other side, and vice-versa.
