Spryzen Central Accel, known as Spriggan Central Accel (スプリガン・セントラル・アクセル, Supurigan Sentoraru Akuseru) in Japan, is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System. It was released in Japan on September 19th, 2015 for 864円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 1 Trident Heavy Claw.

Energy Layer - SpryzenEdit

Main article: Energy Layer - Spryzen
Spryzen features three prominent bumps on each side of it, two of them getting their shape from the double claw-like design created by the colored plastic underneath the transparent casing. This means that its weight is mostly focused in the center and in a sort of pendulum with two arms spread out, generating some Flywheel Effect. However, its overall weight is among the lowest in all Energy Layers, below the average of 8.0 grams.

The teeth underneath its core are in ascending order, the third one being the tallest, with a very small fourth tooth at the end. This implies that the harder it gets hit, the harder it is to Burst, unless the third tooth is forcibly skipped over.

This Energy Layer is a "jack of all trades, master of none": while it isn't Top-Tier in any format and was always second to Valkyrie upon release, it delivers surprisingly strong hits against Combinations that are usually solid. It can be effective whether it is on a Mobile Combination on a Performance Tip like Accel, or a mostly Stationary Combination in the middle of the stadium on Performance Tips like Defense or Survive. However, its use is risky and fades away in comparison to more reliable Top-Tier Combinations. In other words, while it has its lucky moments, Spryzen is unable to deliver a consistent performance, unlike Energy Layers that are much more aggressive like Valkyrie, Amaterios and Xcalibur.

Forge Disc - CentralEdit

Main article: Forge Disc - Central
Central features a thickened central ring and a thinned perimeter meant to create a Centralized Weight Distribution. The centralized weight is meant to increase spin velocity which has numerous effects on performance:

If used on Attack Combinations, the higher spin velocity will increase the force of impact. If used on Defense Combinations, the centralized weight will increase KO resistance.

While Central has an indent on once side to prevent this Disc from being perfectly balanced, it is not the main downfall of this Disc. What prevents this Disc from being competitive is the light weight which makes any effect from the Centralized Weight Distribution negligible at best as there is too little mass for effective Attack potential and too little mass for effective KO resistance.

Performance Tip - AccelEdit

Main article: Performance Tip - Accel
Accel features a plastic flat tip with a small diameter, akin to Flat from Metal Fight Beyblade, and sits at the standard height. The center of the Driver also contains an embossed logo featuring a stylized letter A for easy differentiation from other Drivers. Due to the surface area, Accel will create an aggressive, and if launched at an angle, somewhat easily controllable movement pattern. In terms of speed, Accel is faster than Blow but is slower than Xtreme, capable of reaching and stalling on the Tornado Ridge. Due to the plastic construction, Accel is an excellent choice for both Mobile Stamina and Attack/Stamina Balance Combinations. Furthermore, the solid construction also ensures that Accel will not wear out like other Tips such as Xtreme nor be damaged like Zephyr.

However, Accel's plastic construction is also a weakness as Attack Combinations using Accel can lose their Banking Pattern somewhat easily, especially if the Combinations are unbalanced. Furthermore, the low friction means that Accel is liable to self-Knock-Outs.
