Spryzen S2 Boost Impact, known as Storm Spriggan Boost Impact (ストームスプリガン・ブースト・インパクト, Sutōmu Supurigan Būsuto Inpakuto) in Japan, is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the Dual Layer System. It was released in Japan on November 12th, 2016 for 3780円 as part of the Beyblade Super Custom Set Heavy Ver..

Energy Layer - Spryzen S2

Main article: Energy Layer - Spryzen S2
Spryzen S2 is a rather elliptical Energy Layer, and somewhat resembles its predecessor, Spriggan. This Layer has two main contact points protruding from the under layer at the extremities of its oval, which are each followed by a similar-looking blade composed of the polycarbonate over layer and a square-shaped projection that also serves as a location for the screws. While such an aggressive design might indicate potential usefulness in Attack, the Energy Layer is made useless by its teeth, which are smaller than the teeth of Chaos, which are reputed to perform poorly. As the teeth on Storm Spriggan are completely unfit to manage the rotational recoil the aggressive shape of the Layer subjects them to during collisions, it Bursts itself very easily and should not be considered for use in competitive play.

Forge Disc - Boost

Main article: Forge Disc - Boost
Boost is a circular Forge-Disc with six small downward sloping blades present around its perimeter. In theory, the blades are meant to produce Down Force in Right-Spin to increase the grip of the Beyblade on the stadium floor by pushing air downward and create Upper Force in Left-Spin which would decrease the friction between the Beyblade and the stadium floor by pushing air upwards. In reality however, due to the small size of the blades, the Down/Upper Force created is negligible and the said blades serve no other purposes other than drastically reducing the Life After Death of Boost. Furthermore, Boost has a light weight even for a non-Core Disc and a poor weight distribution making it a poor choice for Attack, Defense and Stamina Combinations.

Performance Tip - Impact

Main article: Performance Tip - Impact
Impact features a star-like rubber tip, with three points. The plastic of the Performance Tip extends between these three points on the rubber tip, filling in the space left by the rubber tip.

However, these plastic fillers cause Impact to be hard to control and effectively reduce its Stamina, due to the fact that two different surfaces are contacting the stadium simultaneously as well as successively, effectively worsening the friction with no real benefit compared to a Performance Tip like Xtreme. Consequently, as a flat tip, the ridge on the perimeter that comes in contact with the stadium floor always gets halted at each change of material: speeding up with the rubber, then slipping and slowing down with the plastic, and so forth.

Impact has three rubber points with three plastic points filling in the gaps between the rubber the plastic makes Impact’s movements uncontrollable. The two different surfaces contacting the stadium simultaneously worsens the Stamina significantly. The rubber making contact with the stadium increases speed, then when the plastic makes contact it slows and decreases grip with the stadium. Because of this, it is not recommended for any Combination.
