'''Stamina''' (Previously called '''Endurance''' or '''Survival''') is a typing in Beyblade that refers to Beyblades that battle by taking many hits and continuing to spin. These Beyblades usually have pointed tips and/or free-spinning Parts to lower friction. Stamina types are most characterized by their reliance on Outward Weight Distribution to keep necessary momentum to spin for lang times, even on more mobile set-ups. Stamina types are typically strong against Defence types as they can outlast them without suffering much damage. Stamina types tend to be weak against Attack types as their low friction, generally low protection, and in the case of Burst, low burst resistance makes them easier to Knock Out or Burst.
'''Stamina''' is a Beyblade type, designed to out-spin an opponent. Stamina-types are usually higher than other Beyblades and have sharper performance tips, but in some cases lower Spin Tracks may be helpful. Most of the weight of a Stamina type is on the outside edge to help maintain its centrifugal force. Stamina types generally use the [[Defense]] series of tips (WD, EWD, and D are fair examples) rather than Sharp based tips like BS and MS due to the latter's bad stability.

When constructing a pure Stamina type Bey, You should be looking for these qualities, plus some advice to keep in mind:
Stamina-types generally have the advantage over Defense-types, as Defense-type Beyblades have only a moderate amount of Stamina. The one flaw with that is that Defense in the Beyblade may be major enough to provide a mild Attack, which Stamina-types have a hard time dealing with. This is because their Fusion Wheels are usually lighter and thinner than other wheels in attempt to reduce friction on contact. There are a few exceptions, usually wielding some Defense value of their own through a strong shape like Earth's rounded wings or a high amount of centrifugal force or weight like the 4D Flash and Phantom wheels.

* A tip made from a material with a low friction coefficient such as Metal or POM.

* A Weight Disk, Attack Ring, Wheel, Layer, and/or Disk with most of the material out towards the outside.

* An Attack Ring, Wheel, or Layer that's very smooth and round to help reduce lost spin on Contact.

Stamina (Previously called Endurance or Survival) is a typing in Beyblade that refers to Beyblades that battle by taking many hits and continuing to spin.

When constructing a pure Stamina type Bey, You should be looking for these qualities, plus some advice to keep in mind:

  • A tip in the shape of a Cone or Ball, which limit points of contact with the stadium floor.
  • A tip made from a material with a low friction coefficient such as Metal or POM.
  • A Weight Disk, Attack Ring, Wheel, Layer, and/or Disk with most of the material out towards the outside.
  • An Attack Ring, Wheel, or Layer that's very smooth and round to help reduce lost spin on Contact.
  • Preferably a free spinning tip, especially one connected to a Bearing.
  • Most of the surfaces should be smooth to reduce Air Resistance.
  • A free spinning ring around the tip can allow for longer spin times while in precession.
  • A narrow sharp tip will be unstable and make the combo fall over easily

Zombies are a popular sub-typing for Stamina Types seen in Plastic and Burst Beyblade play, they utilize Opposite Spin and High Life After Death to Out Spin opponents while at low rotational speeds.

Trivia

  • In MFB,All Pre-4D Stamina type beys have fire oriented Fusion Wheels, (Flame, Thermal, Burn) symbolizing how fires can last for days. The one exception to this is Earth Virgo.
  • During Plastic Gen, The type was called "Endurance" instead of "Stamina".
  • The color associated with Stamina used to be Green, likely representing the color being seen as a sign of Vitality. In Burst it was switched to Yellow to match Ragnaruk.H.S' color scheme, and potentially to mirror the Fire notion and Energy in general.
