Evo-X Belfyre B8 is a Strike Chip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadStrike System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Light Ignite Battle Set.
Description
Hasbro's Evo-X Belfyre B8 is a right-spin Strike Chip that features the face of Belial, the Demon King. Compared to its predecessor Evo Belfyre B7, Evo-X Belfyre B8 has a lighter weight and lower Burst Resistance. However, its high Burst Resistance is still comparable to other Strike Chips such as Dragon D8.
Unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart, Evo-X Belfyre B8 does not have the "Overdrive System" or "Burst Lock" gimmick.
Overall
QuadStrike System Layers are heavily outclassed by releases from Takara Tomy in the Cho-Z Layer System and onward.
As such, Evo-X Belfyre B8 is recommended for collection purposes only.
Evo-X Belfyre B8 is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format.
