Xcalius X8 is a Strike Chip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System and the QuadStrike System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Xcalius Power Speed Launcher Set.
Description
Hasbro's Xcalius X8 is a right-spin Strike Chip that features a large sword representing the Strike Chip's namesake: the legendary sword Excalibur from Arthurian legend. Xcalius X8 has an above average weight for Strike Chips and average Burst Resistance.
Unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart, Xcalius X8 does not have any metal or the "BU Lock" and "One Hit Mode" gimmicks.
Overall
QuadStrike System Layers are heavily outclassed by releases from Takara Tomy in the Cho-Z Layer System and onward.
