Deathscyther (デスサイザー, Desusaizā) is a Superking Chip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Superking Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of B-176 Random Booster Vol. 23 on December 26th, 2020.

Description

The motif is of the reaper's sickle, Deathscyther. A right-spin Superking Chip that locks the entire Beyblade.
— Official Description

Deathscyther is a right-spin Superking Chip that features the side profile of a hooded skull holding a large scythe, meant to represent the Grim Reaper, akin to its predecessors in the Deathscyther line. Deathscyther has an average weight for Superking Chips, and is thus outclassed by heavier right-spin Superking Chips such as Hyperion 2 and Solomon, which have metal, as well as Diabolos and Spriggan, which has the versatility of dual-spin capabilities. Since the differences between most Superking Chips is only cosmetic, it is recommended to use the aforementioned Superking Chips over Deathscyther, as they offer additional advantages.

Overall

While Superking Layers can still find some use in this format, other Superking Chips are preferable over Deathscyther, as they offer additional advantages.

As such, Deathscyther is not recommended for the Burst Format.

Deathscyther is not legal in the Burst GT Format.

Deathscyther is not legal in the Burst Limited Format.

Deathscyther is not legal in the Burst Classic Format.
