Spriggan (スプリガン, Supurigan) is a Superking Chip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Superking Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-172 Booster World Spriggan Unite' 2B on September 19th, 2020.

Description

The motif is of the giant that protects treasure, Spriggan. A Superking Chip that can be transformed and attached to either a left or right-spin ring.
— Official Description

Takara Tomy's Spriggan is a dual-spin Superking Chip that features the face of a spriggan, a creature from Cornish folklore. Due to the dual-spin mechanism, Spriggan is not compatible with a Metal Chip Core; instead, a metal Chip Core is integrated into its design. Spriggan, along with Diabolos, can be used with any Ring. Spriggan and Diabolos are best used with the dual-spin World Ring, as the spin direction of World can be switched to better perform against the opponent.
