Valkyrie (ヴァルキリー, Varukirī) is a Superking Chip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Superking Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-163 Booster, Brave Valkyrie Evolution' 2A, on April 25th, 2020. It later debuted in western countries as Valtryek with the release of Hasbro's Pro Series Starter Pack, Brave Valtryek Evolution' 2A.

Description

The motif is of Valkyrie, the goddess of battle. A right-spin Superking Chip that locks the entire Beyblade.
— Official Description

Valkyrie is a right-spin Superking Chip that features an armored face with a stylized V adorning the helmet, akin to its Gatinko Chip predecessor. These details represent the Superking Chip's namesake, valkyries, Odin's handmaidens in Norse mythology. Valkyrie has an average weight for Superking Chips, and is thus outclassed by heavier right-spin Superking Chips such as Hyperion 2 and Solomon, which have metal, as well as Diabolos and Spriggan, which has the versatility of dual-spin capabilities. Since the differences between most Superking Chips is only cosmetic, it is recommended to use the aforementioned Superking Chips over Valkyrie, as they offer additional advantages.

Overall

While Superking Layers can still find some use in this format, other Superking Chips are preferable over Valkyrie, as they offer additional advantages.

As such, Valkyrie is not recommended for the Burst Format.

Valkyrie is not legal in the Burst Limited Format.
