Wyvern (ワイバーン, Waibān) is a Superking Chip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Superking Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-177 Booster Jet Wyvern Around Just 1D on January 23rd, 2021.

Description

The motif is of the flying dragon, Wyvern. A right-spin Superking Chip that locks the entire Beyblade.
— Official Description

Wyvern is a right-spin Superking Chip that features two dragon heads, meant to represent the Superking Chip's namesake: the Wyvern, a two-legged winged dragon. Wyvern has an average weight for Superking Chips, and is thus outclassed by heavier right-spin Superking Chips such as Hyperion 2 and Solomon, which have metal, as well as Diabolos and Spriggan, which has the versatility of dual-spin capabilities. Since the differences between most Superking Chips is only cosmetic, it is recommended to use the aforementioned Superking Chips over Wyvern, as they offer additional advantages.

Overall

While Superking Layers can still find some use in this format, other Superking Chips are preferable over Wyvern, as they offer additional advantages.

As such, Wyvern is not recommended for the Burst Format.

Wyvern is not legal in the Burst GT Format.

Wyvern is not legal in the Burst Limited Format.

Wyvern is not legal in the Burst Classic Format.
