Taiga Akabane, known as Taiga Akaba (赤刃タイガ, Akaba Taiga) in Japan, is a character in the Beyblade Burst anime/manga, specifically Beyblade Burst Turbo. He is one of the best BeyTrainers in the world. Taiga is very serious and strict but really he just wants to keep all his family and everyone around him safe. This was shown when he did not let Aiger join Beigoma Academy and does not make him a Turbo Bey. Taiga is also not very fond of Turbo, as he thinks that Bladers can become consumed by their Beys and ruin their lives, which unfortunately happened to his own son, Aiger.

Appearance[]

Taiga has dark blue hair and lime green eyes. He also has a blue beard. Taiga wears a brown hat and long brown boots. He wears a blue check shirt and blue pants with a brown belt. He wears a green waistcoat.

Taiga is Raul's former apprentice, they both used to work together. Long before the events of Beyblade Burst Turbo they both created the Xtend Driver before Aiger used it for his Z Achillies. It also seemed that they kept in touch as Raul knew who were Taiga's children before he officially met them. Raul also told Valt about his former appertince as Valt went to him to evolve Strike Valtryek 6Vortex Ultimate Reboot into Wonder Valtryek 12 Volcanic.

Kana Akabane[]

Aiger Akabane[]

Aiger is Taiga’s son and is very close to Taiga. This was shown when he did not make Aiger a Turbo Bey, as he thought that Aiger could get possessed by it. When Aiger made a Turbo Beyblade for himself with Naru's help, Taiga's theory was proven correct when his son was eventually possessed by Z Achilles.
