QS Blade - Tidal

Hasbro's Tidal is a right-spin Attack Type QS Blade with a three-sided shape reminiscent of the Valtryek line of Layers. Tidal has three level wings as its main contact points, with tidal wave-like patterns on the top of the wings. Unlike the Valtryek line of Layers, Tidal has level wings rather than upward slanted wings, and is thus incapable of Upper Attack. Tidal is lighter than other similarly shaped Blades such as Salvage, and is thus outclassed. Like other QD and QS Blades, Tidal can switch between Apex and Core Modes by swapping the position of the Gravity Ring from the top of the QS Blade (Apex) to below it (Core).

Tidal is one of four "elemental" QS Blades, being the Attack Type QS Blade associated with the Water Element. The other elemental QS Blades are: Twister (Defense Type and Wind Element), Lightning (Stamina Type and Lightning Element), and Flame (Balance Type and Fire Element).

Gravity Ring - 6'

Main article: Gravity Ring - 6'

Hasbro's 6' is a Gravity Ring based on Takara Tomy's 6 Armor. As such it retains the same general shape as 6, with minor design alterations. Like 6, 6' has six square protrusions and small nubs between each. The main difference between the design of the 6 Armor/Gravity Ring and 6' is that the nubs are smaller. In theory, 6' has an even weight distribution at six points to increase Stamina. In practice however, since all Gravity Rings are plastic instead of metal like Takara Tomy's Armors, they are all around the same weight and offer no differences in performance, with the main difference between them being only aesthetic. As any differences in the weight distribution of a Combination are negligible, it is difficult to suggest using a particular Gravity Ring over another. Furthermore, most QuadDrive System Layers are lightweight and thus outclassed by heavier Layers.

Forge Disc - Nexus-Q

Hasbro's Nexus-Q is an eight bladed Disc based on Takara Tomy's Nexus. It retains the same general shape as its Takara Tomy counterpart, but is smaller in size and about 6 grams lighter. Due to its shape, Nexus-Q works best in Attack Combinations.

Like Nexus, Nexus-Q is compatible with the S Gear and D Gear. When the S Gear is set in its face-up position, the four tabs of the S Gear lock into four grooves on Nexus-Q, becoming fixed in place. When set in its face-down position, there are no tabs and thus the S Gear can free-spin on Nexus-Q. The D Gear slides a short distance when struck, repelling the opposing Beyblade.
