Tide Treptune T3 8Bump Edge is a Stamina Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the God Layer System. It was released in western countries as a SwitchStrike Starter Pack for CAD$17.99 in Canada, USD$12.99 in the United States, and AUD$24.99 in Australia.

Energy Layer - Tide Treptune T3

Main article: Energy Layer - Tide Treptune T3

Hasbro's Tide Treptune T3 is a Stamina Type Energy Layer based on Takara Tomy's Screw Trident, and as such has three large blades to create an overall triangular shape. Unlike Hasbro's previous SlingShock System adaptation of Screw Trident, Spiral Treptune T4, Tide Treptune T3 is part of the SwitchStrike System and thus retains the gimmick of Screw Trident: the center and blades of the Layer are connected by rubber to create a "Bound Defense" gimmick. The elastic nature of the rubber is intended to shift upon impact and absorb shock, reducing recoil. In practice, the rubber is too hard for this gimmick to function effectively. This issue is exacerbated by the triangular shape of the Layer, which creates high recoil and Burst Risk. Despite this, its shape has excellent weight distribution, and thus works well in pure Stamina Combinations.

Unlike Screw Trident and Spiral Treptune T4, Tide Treptune T3 does not have a God Chip in its center, instead filling the section with a new jewel design.

Forge Disc - 8

Main article: Forge Disc - 8

8, like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features four protrusions, each molded into the shape of an "8". Each of the lower loops of the "8"s features gaps, akin to Knuckle, which takes weight away from the center and creates high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and subsequent Flywheel Effect, features theoretically perfect for Stamina. Furthermore, 8 is one of the heaviest Discs in the game, heavier than Heavy, Gravity, 2, 4, and 6 and its use can bolster a Beyblade's Knock-Out Resistance and Attack potential. However, like other heavy discs with high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) such as Gravity and Ring, the use of 8 severely decreases a Beyblade's Burst Resistance as a trade off.

Disc Frame - Bump

Main article: Disc Frame - Bump

Bump is a round Disc Frame with numerous protrusions to give it a rough perimeter. While too small to come into contact with the opponent's Layer, Bump is one of the thickest and thus heaviest Frames in the game, heavier than Meteor, which grants high Attack potential when paired with Core Discs such as 7. While the round shape may imply high Life-After-Death, the rough perimeter makes it outclassed for Defense and Stamina by Glaive and Cross.

Performance Tip - Edge

Main article: Performance Tip - Edge

Edge features 4 edges that descend toward a point, creating a sharp bottom. Due to this pointed tip, Edge suffers from very poor balance, causing it to tilt on its axis and topple over. Edge's edges are 90° apart which seem to have the intention of Stabilization. However, this effect is negligible and is even possibly a contributing factor to this Performance Tip's imbalance.
