The attack ring allows the beyblade to literally take flight. Hasbro remodeled this attack ring to be more durable, despite showing the Takara version on the box & instruction manual. The reason for this is unknown.

Making It Fly
This bey is known for its ability to fly so here's a tutorial to show you how. You will need: the Flying Defense (the Takara Tomy version is the only one that can fly) attack ring, a Right SG (Jumping version), and the casings of a left SG, along with a left launcher.
1. Take the casings off of Right SG (Jumping version) and attach the casings of a left SG.
2. Attach Flying Defense..
3 Rip it as hard as you can.
