Attack Ring - Smash Turtle[]

Smash Turtle is one of the wider AR's and as well as having a good weight, along with it's unique design, make it a very useful AR in many different types of customizations. Smash Turtle is almost a complete circle, separated in three places by points that are in the shape of a turtle's head. When Smash Turtle was originally designed, the original idea was to wear down opponents using the three protrusions on each wing (which is neglable) and the slopes (which is the main focus of this AR). Majority of this AR is three wings that have a downward angle on the ends, which makes Smash Turtle the top choice for a Force Smash customization.
Use in Force Smash Customization Force Smash is a fairly difficult type of Attack as it requires a few factors to be used successfully. The first factor, is being the proper height. If the Force Smash custom is shorter than the opponent, then there will be no Force Smash coming from your Beyblade, the same applies if your opponent is extremely short. The second factor is to do your best to make sure your Beyblade is spinning in the same direction as your opponent. If the two Beyblades are spinning in opposite spin directions, then the Force Smash effect will be extremely ineffective.

Use in Weight-Based Defense Customization Smash Turtle is a very big AR, and with that size comes a good bit of weight, but the main reason to use Smash Turtle in Weight-Based Defense customs, is for Force Smash. The Force Smash effect is very useful in this Weight-Based Defense Custom as it brings a significant amount of Survival to the Weight-Based Defense, allowing for a higher chance of out-spinning the opponent.

Weight Disk - Wide Defense[]
- Main article: Weight Disk - Wide Defense
- Weight: 15 Grams
Wide Defense has a completely circular shape with six inset notches and one outset notch. Despite its rather large width, it is relatively light; roughly the same weight as Ten Balance and more than a gram lighter than Ten Heavy.
Spin Gear - Right SG[]
- Main article: Spin Gear - Right SG
Right Spin Gears allow for right spin when used in tandem with Right-Spin Shooters. In a Right-Spin Spin Gear, two tabs (situated close to the right sides of the Spin Gear) would attach to the Right-Spin Shooter, allowing a Beyblade to be spun clockwise.
They have plastic casing surrounding a metal ring and gear which is placed into the Blade Base and held in place by base clips. The core (centre pieces) is not interchangeable in Standard Spin Gears. Different variations have now been released that feature weights, bearings and even an engine inside the Spin Gear.
Blade Base - Bearing Base[]
- Main article: Blade Base - Bearing Base
- Weight: 8 grams
The tip of the Bearing Base is free-spinning. Because of this, when the Beyblade is hit by an opposing Beyblade, it absorbs much of the damage and does not lose spin as easily. The shaft of Bearing Base is held in place by two bearings (one of the two is plastic, but it can be replaced by NSK bearing), an attribute shared only with Burning Kerberus and Takara's Zeus. Because of these double bearings, Bearing Base can regain its balance quickly after being hit. The tip of this shaft is very sharp and made of a plastic that has low friction when compared to other tips. It is one of the best tips for survival Beyblades.
Mold Variations[]
Hasbro's Bearing Base has a slight but important difference. The tip of the Beyblade is slightly sharper and made out of a harder plastic, resulting in more survival potential, but substantially less defense potential.
Using Bearing Base Shaft in Other Blade Bases[]
An important trick to learn using the Bearing Base is that the shaft can be removed and put into the casing of Wolborg's shaft. This will allow you to use Bearing Stinger's tip in 5-layer combos, which affords you the advantage of using a left spin direction with this tip, along with using Wolborg 2's BB. This can even be extended into making 6-Layer combos, as the SG of Wolborg can be placed in Dragoon V2's BB. Using this method, you can use Bearing Base's tip in conjunction with SP.
