This article is about Hasbro's HyperSphere release. For the Takara Tomy and Pro Series release, see Union Achilles Convert Xtend+ Retsu.

Union Achilles A5 Convert Xtender-H is a Balance Type Beyblade released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the HyperSphere System. It was released in western countries as a HyperSphere Starter Pack for USD$9.99 in the United States.

It is the successor to Turbo Achilles A4 00 Dimension-S and is succeeded by Infinite Achilles A6 1B-D Dimensioning-SP.

Hasbro's Achilles A5 is a right-spin GT Chip that features an armored face and a shield, representing the GT Chip's namesake: the Greek mythological hero, Achilles. In the center of the GT Chip is a silver hexagon that is intended to resemble the center of the Retsu Weight. Achilles A5 has an above average weight for GT Chips, and high Burst Resistance.

Layer Base - Union

Hasbro's Union is a right-spin Balance Type Base based on Takara Tomy's Union Base. Details resembling the Retsu Weight are also integrated into Union's design. Union has a similar shape to its Takara Tomy counterpart, with two large sloped blades as the primary points of contact, granting the Base high Knock-Out (KO) and Burst Attack potential. These blades are further amplified by the Union Sword accessory, which can be removed to switch between modes. In "Power Mode", the Union Swords are attached onto the Base, increasing the weight of Union and the length of the two large blades. In "Speed Mode", the Union Swords are removed from the Base, increasing the speed of the Union combination and complementing Attack Type Drivers such as Xtreme.

Of the Bases released in the HyperSphere System, Union is the only one to retain its gimmick. Compared to its Takara Tomy/Pro Series counterpart, the Union Swords also integrate a faux Retsu Weight into the design, increasing its weight by half a gram. The inability to utilize a Weight means that a Union combination will be about 10 grams lighter, despite the Union Bases weighing only a few grams apart.

Forge Disc - Convert

Hasbro's Convert Disc is based on Takara Tomy's Disc of the same name. As such, its overall shape resembles the design of its Takara Tomy counterpart. However, it is significantly smaller, reducing its weight. Furthermore, Convert lacks the mode change gimmick of its Takara Tomy counterpart, and has a hollow underside. Like all HyperSphere Discs, Convert is able to use a Disc Frame, like the Core Discs. Due to its light weight, there is no reason to use Convert over Core Discs, which are heavier and have superior weight distribution.

Performance Tip - Xtender-H

Main article: Performance Tip - Xtender-H

Xtender-H is Hasbro's HyperSphere counterpart to the Xtend+ Driver. Unlike its normal counterpart, Xtender-H does not feature a mode change gimmick; like all HyperSphere Drivers, Xtender-H is bulky with a wide ball-shaped tip which is intended to interact with HyperSphere Beystadiums.

The design and details of Xtender-H vaguely resemble the Xtend+ and the Xtend Chip, and due to the bulky and wide design of HyperSphere Drivers, Xtender-H has high Life-After-Death (LAD).
