Valkyrie Wing Accel (ヴァルキリー・ウイング・アクセル, Varukirī Uingu Akuseru) is an Attack-Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System. It was first released in Japan on July 18, 2015 for 2200¥.

Hasbro's Valtryek is a right-spin Attack Type Layer based on Takara Tomy's Valkyrie. It is virtually identical to its Takara Tomy counterpart, featuring the same three-winged design, with each wing sporting a set of two protruding contact points. These consist of a larger contact point and a smaller kite-shaped contact point. The centre of the Layer depicts an armored face, with feathers protruding off of the helmet, and a V-shape between them to represent this Layer's namesake: valkyries, Odin's handmaidens in Norse mythology.

Compared to Takara Tomy's Valkyrie, the slopes of Valtryek are weaker than a mint Valkyrie's teeth, with performance comparable to a moderately worn Valkyrie. Due to its weak Burst Resistance, it cannot handle its recoil as well as a mint Valkyrie, which can also further increase its Burst Resistance with Dash Drivers. This is further exacerbated by the low Burst Resistance of Hasbro's rubber Attack Drivers. As such, Valtryek is outclassed by Takara Tomy's Valkyrie, but comparable to other Hasbro Attack Layer options such as Roktavor and Xcalius.

Overall

Despite other aggressive Layers being released after the start of Beyblade Burst, the Valkyrie Layer remains one of the best Attack part in the metagame. However, it is very vulnerable to teeth wear since no reinforced version was ever released. Accel is a semi-essential Driver to provide mobility to a combination, whether for Attack with added stamina or for mobile/active Defense, but it does not provide quite as much versatility as plastic flat tips with holes such as Zephyr and Trans. In conclusion, Valkyrie Wing Accel is worth purchasing in order to own a top-tier Attack Layer, but multiples will be required to replace Valkyrie as soon as its teeth are too worn.
