Victory Valkyrie Boost Variable (ビクトリーヴァルキリー・ブースト・ヴァリアブル, Bikutorī Varukirī Būsuto Variaburu) is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dual Layer System. It was released as a Starter in Japan on April 2nd, 2016 for 1404円. It is the evolution of Valkyrie Wing Accel and later evolves into God Valkyrie 6Vortex Reboot.
Energy Layer - Victory Valkyrie

Like its predecessor Valkyrie, Takara Tomy's Victory Valkyrie has three upward slanted wings that excel at Knockout (KO) Attack but the Layer falls behind its predecessor Valkyrie at giving Bursts. Unlike Valkyrie's teeth, the teeth of Victory Valkyrie have no problem with wear due to them having greater width, following the model introduced with Xcalibur. The teeth are also very tall which allows the Layer to withstand its own recoil and avoid Self-Bursts which made this Layer an excellent choice for Attack Combinations.
There are three minor mold variations of Victory Valkyrie: the first mold has completely hollow wings which make it very fragile and prone to breaking. The second mold, introduced with the Kirin Limited Campaign Green Ver. release, has added bars within the wings for reinforcement. However, despite these reinforcements, this Layer continued to suffer cases of breaks. This led to a third mold, first introduced in Asian releases of the B-57 Triple Booster Set and Japanese releases of the B-64 Beyblade Super Custom Set Heavy Ver.. This mold includes a reinforced center ring along with the aforementioned bars within the wings, which not only addresses most of the breakage issues but also causes the part to weigh about half a gram more than its first mold variation. It is advised for Bladers to find a third generation mold because of this increased weight and durability, though the first and second versions will suffice if one is prepared to replace them.
Forge Disc - Boost

Boost is a circular Forge-Disc with six small downward sloping blades present around its perimeter. In theory, the blades are meant to produce Down Force in Right-Spin to increase the grip of the Beyblade on the stadium floor by pushing air downward and create Upper Force in Left-Spin which would decrease the friction between the Beyblade and the stadium floor by pushing air upwards. In reality however, due to the small size of the blades, the Down/Upper Force created is negligible and the said blades serve no other purposes other than drastically reducing the Life-After-Death of Boost. Furthermore, Boost has a light weight even for a non-Core Disc and a poor weight distribution making it a poor choice for Attack, Defense and Stamina Combinations.
Performance Tip - Variable

Variable features a rubber tip, made up of two sets of rubber spikes, that begins at standard height. The spikes are meant to wear down and break off with use so unlike most other rubber tips, Variable will become more aggressive instead of less aggressive over time.
When launched in mint condition the first set of six spikes will create a mildly aggressive pattern at speeds akin to Blow, albeit without the Stamina due to the greater friction the rubber has. Due to how tall the first six teeth are and the somewhat brittle nature of the rubber in the Takara Tomy release, the first set of teeth will break off relatively quickly.
When launched after the first set of teeth have given way to the second set of fourteen spikes, Variable's speed increases remarkably, becoming as fast or even faster than Xtreme, due to the now increased surface area and diameter. However, that same speed and diameter increase makes Variable incredibly difficult to control at this stage as banking is difficult to maintain, Self-Knock-Outs become common and its Stamina worsens. Due to the greater number of spikes and their shorter length, Variable does not wear out as quickly at this stage. Of the stages, this stage of Variable is considered the best.
When the second set of spikes break off, what's left is a solid base of rubber. At this point Variable's speed increases further but the aforementioned control and Stamina issues become even worse, having trouble even staying on the Tornado Ridge of the stadium and losing spin too quickly to perform any meaningful attacks when it begins to slow down.
When this tip loses teeth, it does become shorter as a result, granting Attack combinations Destabilization potential. Furthermore, due to the wide base, Variable has relatively high Life-After-Death when worn down, making it a somewhat safer choice against Spin-Equalization combinations.

Takara Tomy
- Flame Knight Ver. - Released as a CoroCoro exclusive recolor in April 2016. The Energy Layer on this Beyblade is recolored in a crimson red color. Only 1000 of this variant exist.
- B-38 - Released in B-38 Beyblade Burst Entry Set. The Energy Layer on this Beyblade features orange accents instead of yellow, and comes in a darker shade of blue.
- Black Ver. - Very special version, only 10 units.
- Rich Green Ver. - Kirin Beverage Campaign, only 3000 units. (Green Energy Layer with regular yellow stickers, metallic green Forge Disc and dark green Performance Tip)

- Victory Valkyrie is based on "Victory" and Valkyrie, a female Norse warrior that ride winged horses to combat. This is enforced by its avatar, which is a shade of blue armored, warrior riding a dark-blue horse. However, the warrior appears androgynous and the horse has no wings, but its helmet sports wing-style appendages.
